What is the typical duration and contract period for a Kit rental?

Kits are rented on a three-day basis: 1- Delivery, 2- Event, 3- Pickup and Cleaning, unless the rental period is extended.

What is included in each Classy Kit?

Classy Kits are thoughtfully crafted for individuals with a busy lifestyle. Each kit includes all necessary dinnerware, table décor, and linens. A detailed contents list and a visual guide of the complete setup are also provided.

How many place settings are included in each kit?

Each Classy Kit is distinct. Before reserving a Kit, please verify the number of place settings included. Kits typically range from 6 to 12 settings.

Are the flowers fresh or artificial silk?

Classy Kits feature artificial flowers to encourage reuse and recycling, while being regularly refreshed according to usage.

The Classy Kits approach to reuse and recycling is excellent, but are the dishes thoroughly cleaned?

Absolutely! Each Classy Kit undergoes a comprehensive cleaning and sanitizing process both before and after every rental. This includes all dinnerware and linens. Furthermore, every décor item is meticulously inspected prior to packing the kit.

Do I need to clean the dishes before returning them?

No! The Classy Kits model eliminates the stress and mess of washing dishes and linens. Clear instructions for packing the dishes, linens and decor for return will be included in the kit. Please ensure that any leftover food on the plates is scraped into the trash before repacking.

Does each kit include all the items shown in the picture?

Classy Kits operates on a reuse and recycle model, meaning some items may vary. Each kit features a unique selection of authentic China sets and glassware, including some one-of-a-kind pieces. In case a plate or glass is damaged, it may be replaced with a similar item or the kit’s number of settings may be modified. You may also have additional choices for tablecloths or extra décor.

How do I pay for my kit, and is a rental agreement required?

Payment is due at the time of delivery for each rental kit, with the rental contract signed simultaneously to ensure all terms are clearly understood. Payments may be made using cash, credit, or debit cards for your convenience. Additionally, a credit card is required to hold a reservation for the kit, securing your booking in advance. Please note that charges will only be processed after the delivery has been successfully completed.

Is a security deposit required?

A partial deposit of up to $100 is required at the time of making your kit reservation to secure your booking.

Classy Kits Rental Contract (Preview Only)

Contract is between Classy Kits and (referred to as Lessee)

Under the General Conditions of Contract, Classy Kits hereby leases to Lessee all items named and identified in attached Inventory Checklist, which Classy Kits representative and Lessee are to sign. Contract is for items rented at the rate agreed in this contract for the time period agreed up on in this contract. Classy Kits shall furnish rental items (kit) and Inventory Checklist. Both Classy Kits and Lessee agree to follow the terms of this contract.

Payment:

At time of order, Classy Kits will charge Lessee a deposit for $100 per kit to reserve kit(s). This deposit is fully refundable if Lessee chooses to cancel reservation prior to seven days before first day of rental. If Lessee cancels within seven days of rental, the deposit is nonrefundable. Rental cost for any ordered kits will be paid up front on day of rental (minus deposit amount) in the form of cash, check, credit card, or debit card. Any/all applicable additional fees will be applied to Lessee’s balance for charges made to Classy Kits due to Lessees preferred method of payment. Classy Kits will require lessee to provide a credit or debit card number and will keep the card information on file for the duration of the rental period.

Return Policy

All kits must be returned at the agreed upon time or sooner. No amount will be refunded or discounted for returning rented items early. If Lessee fails to return rented items, Classy Kits reserves the right to charge rental rates per day every day until kit is returned OR the replacement cost of rental equipment, whichever Classy Kits believe to be more prudent.

One of the things that makes Classy Kits truly unique is some of our rental items are one-of-a-kind pieces. If items are returned damaged and/or missing, Classy Kits will charge Lessee a fee to replace item. Fee will vary depending on what item is and scarcity of availability. This can vary based on how expensive the item that has been damaged is. Lessee must be aware that replacement costs will be charged for our items, and we do have some very nice items that will be hard to replace.

Fees, Fines, Taxes, Etc: Classy Kits is not responsible for any fees, fines, taxes, or other financial burdens Lessee may incur using the rented party kit.

Usage Agreement:

Lessee agrees to use the kits in a manner which they are intended to be used for. Kits must be returned to Classy Kits in good condition with only minor wear and tear of the items. Classy Kits will reserve the right to determine what is considered “normal wear and tear.” Items included in kit are NOT to be placed in any dishwashers, microwaves, ovens, or other places where they will be damaged. Lessee is NOT responsible for cleaning items after use but will place items BACK in their appropriate packaging provided by Classy Kits. Classy Kits will include instructions with every kit for proper packaging of used items to ensure a smooth rental transition. Lessee is not responsible to repackage the kit in the manner the kit was rented in – rather, the kit must be returned the manner outlined in the “Kit Returning Instructions” included with rented kits.

Subleasing

Lessee is assuming full financial responsibility for any kits they agree to rent during the contract period and WILL NOT sublease any of these kits out to other individuals, businesses, government entities, etc.

Warranties

Classy Kits is not the manufacturer nor dealer of kits and makes no warranties as to any matters whatsoever to (but not limited to) the condition of the rented items, the presentation of the rented items, the design, the material, the workmanship, or it’s fitness to the purposes of the Lessee, or that it will meet the requirements of any laws, rules, specifications, or contracts. Classy Kits is not liable WHATSOEVER for loss, damage, or injury to Lessee or third parties as a result of any defects, latent or otherwise, in the rented items. The Lessee rents the items “as is.” Classy Kits shall not be liable for any event to Lessee that causes loss, delay, or damage of any kind or character resulting from defects in rented items or accidental breakage.

Indemnity

Lessee shall indemnify Classy Kits against, and hold Classy Kits harmless from, any and all claims, actions, suits, proceedings, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees, arising out of, connected with, or resulting from the rented items or contract, including without limitation, the manufacture, selection, delivery, leasing, renting, control, possession, use, operation, maintenance or return of the rented items. Lessee shall further indemnify Classy Kits and hold Classy Kits harmless from all loss and damage to the equipment during the rental period. Lessee recognizes and agrees that included in this indemnity clause, but not by way of limitation, is Lessee’s assumption of any and all liability for injury: disability and death of Lessee and other persons caused by the operation, use, control, handling, or transportation of the rental items during the Rental Period.

Risk of Loss

Classy Kits shall not be responsible for loss or damage to property, material, or equipment belonging to Lessee, their agents, employees, suppliers, or anyone directly or indirectly employed by Lessee while said rental items are in Lessee’s care, custody, control. Lessee is encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance against such risk of loss. Lessee and its insurers waive all rights of subrogation against Classy Kits for such losses.

Defaulting

If Lessee defaults on payment agreed to in this Rental Contract, Classy Kits reserves the right to seek restitution for contract amount plus damages incurred to the fullest extent of the law. Lessee shall be responsible for any legal expenses paid on the part of Class Kits should Classy Kits decide to pursue this route.
